Quiet Tractor Muffler

Quiet Tractor Muffler - Tractor is not complete yet but you can see it's a gravely muffler with 10in chrome. However with the car muffler in place the tractor became almost eerily quiet. Instead of the exhaust bark we now heard primarily valve clatter, live pump whine and fan. I have found a quiet muffler made by the mfr for $80. For comparision purposes, i bought a standard can muffler from the local farm store for $20. I'll try both and return the one. Shop mufflers that hush noise for tractors and farm machinery. This muffler is the replacement for the h muffler, although still not nearly as quiet as the original. The shorter barreled muffler is open all the way through. It is intended to be.
